The most practical fundamental property of TMMGU is its outstanding static storage stability, which is a core advantage over most urea-based modified auxiliaries. Many similar modified auxiliaries have high activity at room temperature and tend to undergo self-condensation reactions during long-term storage, causing caking, deterioration and activity attenuation, which require immediate consumption after opening and result in high storage costs.
